Moldovan Presidency inaugurates Christmas Tree, opens doors for people willing to see it
Chisinau, 20 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu, along with the colleagues from the presidential administration and their children, on 19 December evening turned on the lights on the Christmas Tree at the Presidency, thus starting the winter holidays.
According to the presidential press service, along with her team, the head of state received carol singers from the Chisinau-based Lucian Blaga lyceum, who wished those present a rich year. Santa Claus, present at the holiday as usual, prepared contests and surprises for small children. All children went home with presents and in high spirits.
„The winter holidays remind us that, no matter how serious the difficulties we go through are, we can overcome them together, with warmth and care for one another,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
This year too, the Christmas Tree from the Presidency will be open for all people interested to see it. Starting from today till 15 January 2023, children and parents may come to see the presidential tree and make pictures nearby it. On working days, visitors will have access to the building during 17:00-19:00 and on Saturday and Sunday – during 12:00-15:00.
