Moldovan president welcomes EU's decision to sanction persons who threaten Moldova's security, stability

Chisinau, 30 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today came up with a message, after the European Union had informed about the sanctioning of five people who threat the stability and security of Moldova. Four of them are citizens of Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.

The head of state said that these people, who are infringed the law, had betrayed and continued to betray the national interest, endanger the development of Moldova and work for the benefit of the Kremlin.

„The today’s decision means that these persons are not allowed to move freely to the countries due to align with the sanctions, their money will be blocked and the wealth – sequestrated. The European Union helps us stop those who want to destabilize the country and block our future,’’ Maia Sandu said.
