Flash: Emergency state for 60 days established in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today ruled to establish the state of emergency in Moldova for a period of 60 days starting from 24 February 2022.

Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita came to parliament to ask for declaring the emergency state. She noted that, on the period of the emergency state, decision-makers will establish a special regime of entrance and exit from Moldova, of use of the air space, as well as measures due to ensure the management of the migration flows and ensuring the protection of the people who fled Ukraine.
