Moldova's Munteanu government holds first meeting on November 5
The government led by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will hold its first meeting on November 5, due at 10:00. The agenda includes 14 drafts.
Thus, the cabinet of ministers will examine the approval of the Agreement on coordinated control on Romanian territory at the Cantemir-Falciu state railway border crossing point.
The government will also approve a draft law for the ratification of the credit facility Agreement between Moldova and the French Development Agency concerning the Green Energy Transition Programme and will initiate negotiations on the Agreement between Moldova’s Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in Chinese language teaching.
The agenda also includes the decision regarding the approval of the draft law on the denunciation of the Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the government of the Russian Federation on the establishment and work of cultural centers.
At the same time, the cabinet will examine the amendment of the Regulation regarding the conditions for establishing paternal allowance and the Regulation on the payment of monthly scholarships to performance sportspeople.
Another draft included in the agenda concerns the modification of the income declaration period for providing energy compensation in the form of monetary payment. The participants in the meeting will also analyze the decision on the new models of civil status documents.
The government of Moldova, led by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, was sworn in office on October 31, 2025, and on November 1, 2025, the members of the cabinet of ministers took the oath of allegiance.
