Moldovan Central Electoral Commission registers electoral contender for September 28 elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on July 30 registered the list of 62 candidates nominated by the Political Party Democracy at Home for the position of MP deputy in Moldova’s parliament, for the regular parliamentary elections due on September 28, 2025.
At the same time, during the session, the party's electoral symbol was approved, the party's representative was confirmed at the CEC for the electoral period, and the person responsible for managing the funds in the election campaign was appointed.
According to the current legislation, candidates holding positions incompatible with the status of an electoral contender are required to suspend themselves from their position during the election campaign. Otherwise, CEC will cancel the registration of the concerned candidate.
The period for submitting documents for the registration of candidates for the position of lawmaker in the Moldovan parliament will end on August 19, 2025.
The electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections will officially start on August 29, 2025.
