
Moldovan foreign minister pays working visit to Norway
Chisinau, 5 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration pays a working visit to Oslo on 5-6 September. It is the first visit in the last 5 years by a head of Moldovan diplomacy to the capital of Norway.
According to the MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and press relations service, the agenda includes consultations with Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt, as well as working meetings with Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Aasland and representatives of Norwegian private companies in energy sector.
The delegation led by Popescu will approach the ways to boost bilateral cooperation, the security situation in the region in the context of the war in Ukraine, including its impact on our country, the efforts of the authorities regarding the diversification of energy sources, as well as the reform agenda in the accession to the European Union.
