Moldovan PM conveys message on death of Pope Francis
Pope Francis's devotion to compassion and dignity resonated beyond beliefs and borders. May his legacy continue to inspire us toward unity and peace. Prime Minister Dorin Recean has made statements to this effect in a message following the death of Pope Francis, who passed away at the age of 88 today.
“I learned with deep sadness about the passing away of His Holiness, Pope Francis. His devotion to compassion and dignity resonated beyond beliefs and borders. We stand with all those who mourn his loss. May his legacy continue to inspire us toward unity and peace,” wrote Prime Minister Dorin Recean on the X network.
Pope Francis died at the age of 88 today morning. He inaugurated a new age of leadership within the Roman Catholic Church, when he was elected Pope in 2013. Pope Francis introduced many reforms in the church and was reputed for his personality marked by modesty and closeness to people.
