Moldovan president participates in Congress of European People's Party in Spain

President Maia Sandu participates in the European People's Party Congress in Spain. On the sidelines of the event, the official has scheduled several meetings with European leaders.

One of the first discussions took place with the Deputy Prime Minister of Italy, Antonio Tajani.

“A good meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani. Moldova appreciates Italy's strong support for our European path and for strengthening resilience. We aim to expand our cooperation and achieve concrete results for citizens,” said Maia Sandu.

On April 27–29, President Maia Sandu is on a visit to the Kingdom of Spain, where she is participating in the European People's Party Congress, held in the city of Valencia.

During the event, the head of state will give a speech and have meetings with European leaders, heads of state and government, to consolidate political support for Moldova's accession to the European Union, expand economic cooperation, and deepen bilateral relations with partner countries.
