More members of Revival Party join Moldovan Democrats

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/- A group of candidates on the electoral list, leaders of territorial organisations of the Renastere (Revival) Party, today informed they joined the Democratic Party (PDM) and would back this formation at the 30 November parliamentary elections.

The statement was made at a news conference. Participants in the event said they had taken such a decision, "to back the country's development."

"PDM is a tolerant faction and truly democratic. Ideas concerning the social and economic sectors included in the programmes of the Renastere Party and PDM largely coincide. PDM has a strong team of professionals", the former Deputy Education Minister, candidate for MP seat on the Renastere party list, Oleg Babenco, said.

The Renastere (Revival) party was registered as electoral contender on 10 October 2014. It will appear with No 15 on the ballot paper.
