Prime Minister on official visit to Bucharest: We will speed up cooperation and initiate new projects
Strengthening cooperation relations with Romania and identifying new objectives for joint projects will be addressed during Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu's visit to Bucharest, due on 13 November. This will be the first visit paid by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers since taking office.
In the opening of today's Government meeting, Alexandru Munteanu stated that the purpose of his official visit to Bucharest is to speed up cooperation with Romania and to initiate new projects.
“It is very important for us. We have meetings and it is just the beginning of a path; more will follow. So, within the delegation, we already have a few ministers. Mr. Junghietu is already in Bucharest. We will try to accelerate everything we can and initiate new projects. So, that is our intention; and we wish success to those who are leaving, expect us eagerly as it is a very short visit of only one day,” said Munteanu.
According to the visit's agenda, the Prime Minister will have a meeting with Romania's President Nicușor Dan. At Victoria Palace, Alexandru Munteanu will meet with his counterpart, Ilie Bolojan. The two Prime Ministers will discuss topics from the bilateral agenda, focusing on projects of common interest that have a direct impact on the citizens of both countries. In Bucharest, Alexandru Munteanu and Ilie Bolojan will give press statements.
