As many as 32,000 persons consulted for free within A Doctor for You campaign in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/ – Almost 32 thousand persons from rural areas have been consulted free of charge by the mobile teams of specialists within the campaign: A Doctor for You in 2019.

According to the MSMPS’s information and media communication service, free consultations will continue in upcoming months. Thus, on 14 May, endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, neurologists and cardiologists will provide services in the Healthcare Centres in Frunza, Otaci, Dangeni localities in Ocnita district and on 16 May in villages Corlateni, Recea and Zaicani in Rascani district.

During this period, the children from the rural areas of Falesti – villages Glinjeni, Iscalau, Ciolacu Nou, Chetris and Bocsa will be consulted free of charge by the dental mobile team. The beneficiaries of the Temporary placement centre (CPT) for the elderly people and the ones with physical disabilities in Cocieri village, Dubasari district will be screened by pulmonary radiography, and women from rural areas in Floresti, Stefan Voda and Taraclia districts will benefit from free breast screening services provided by the team of physicians equipped with mobile mammogrammes.
