As many as 75 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 8 August /MOLDPRES/- A number of 2,751 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 75 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 2 import ones. As many as 260,630 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one case is among medical employees.
As many as 313 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 65 are in extremely serious condition (11 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 700 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 21,222 are under supervision at home.
Another 93 people have been treated. As many as 252,908 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of three other deaths caused by the new coronavirus, the death toll reached 6,282.
