Ukrainian authorities announced that buildings and structures of the crossing point were damaged by the attack, and the fires that broke out in the area were contained by employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. According to preliminary information, no casualties have been reported.

Following the incident, the crossing of persons and vehicles through the Tabachi border crossing point was suspended, and traffic is being redirected to other crossing points. On the territory of the Republic of Moldova, no drone fragments or other objects posing risks to the population have been identified so far.

The Border Police has mobilized its subdivisions in the region, including the Cișmichioi, Copceac, and Giurgiulești Border Police sectors. The Border Police, the Customs Service, and the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations are monitoring the situation and maintaining contact with the competent authorities in Ukraine.
