
Community social assistants, parental assistants to receive higher salaries in Moldova
Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today approved the increasing in the salary payment classes for the community social assistants and professional parental assistants with vocational education.
The MPs approved the draft on amendment of the law on the single salary payment system in the public sector in the first reading.
At the same time, the classes of salary payment will be increased for other categories of employees: adviser for the settlement of claims; some categories of specialty staff in the legal expertise sector, judicial training, legal assistance guaranteed by the state; support teacher.
At the same time, in the context of giving Moldova the status of country candidate for accession to the European Union, an additional salary increase will be established for the carrying out of the priority tasks. The increase, worth up to 75 per cent of the basic salary, is meant to financially stimulate the staff who is directly involved in the fulfillment of the tasks of Moldova’s accession to EU.
The increased salaries will be calculated for September and paid starting from next October.
