Decrease in criminal rate registered in Transnistria
Chisinau, 10 June /MOLDPRES/- Last week in Transnistria there were 166 notifications on crimes down by 25 per cent than in the last weeks, according to data of the so-called Interior Ministry on the left bank of the Dniester River.
In 123 cases suspects were identified. During reporting period, 30 thefts were committed, nine of which were discovered. At the same time four cases of illicit drug trafficking have been documented. Militia managed to detain eight people accused of committing crimes.
During the same period, the patrol agencies drew up 1,214 reports on traffic violation and detained 23 drunk drivers. There were 54 accidents and three people needed medical attention.
