
Delegations participating in EPC Summit continue arriving in Chisinau today morning
Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - More foreign delegations today morning arrived in Chisinau to participate in the Summit of the European Political Community (EPC Summit), held in Moldova for the first time ever.
Thus, President of France Emmanuel Macron, Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and President of Romania Klaus Iohannis came to Chisinau today.
Also, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak, who came to Moldova for the first time, landed at the Chisinau International Airport.
Among the officials who came to Chisinau today, there are the presidents of Ukraine, Serbia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Greece, Cyprus, as well as the prime ministers of Italy, Hungary, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and the Chancellor of Austria.
Another over 20 foreign delegations landed at the Chisinau International Airport on 31 May evening. Among the officials who arrived in Moldova on 31 May, there were European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the European diplomacy head, Charles Michel, the presidents of Switzerland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, as well as the prime ministers of Georgia, Portugal, Belgium, Armenia, Malta, Luxembourg, Iceland.
