European Chief Prosecutor pays visit to Chisinau
Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ - European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruta Kovesi pays an official visit to Chisinau on 11-14 July.
The chief consultant of the information and mass media communication directorate of the Justice Ministry, Loredana Buzdugan, has confirmed the information for MOLDPRES. According to Buzdugan, Justice Minister Sergiu Litvinenco will have a meeting with Laura Codruta Kovesi.
According to information, Laura Codruta Kovesi will have meetings also with other officials in Moldova.
Laura Codruta Kovesi is European Chief Prosecutor. Starting from 2013 till 2018, she held the position of Chief Prosecutor of the National Anticorruption Directorate from Romania. Before this, Kovesi acted as Prosecutor General of Romania.
