Moldova's National Health Insurance Company purchases new batch of hepatitis B vaccines for adults
The National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) has informed that it allocated over 182,000 lei from the prophylaxis measures fund for the procurement of the second batch of hepatitis B vaccines, meant for adults.
According to the institution, it is about 4,500 doses of vaccine, which will be used to immunize people in high-risk groups of infection. The doses have already been received at the national vaccine warehouse of the National Public Health Agency.
The first batch, also consisting of 4,500 doses, was delivered in late last February.
For this year, CNAM has planned an overall budget of about 559,000 lei for the acquisition of 13,800 doses of hepatitis B vaccines for adults, as part of the fund meant for prophylaxis measures.
