
Moldova to receive €762 million for employment projects
Chisinau, July 3 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova will be able to access financing from European funds for the implementation of projects aimed at employment and social innovation. Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee members have approved an agreement with the EU on Moldova's participation in the employment and social innovation of the European Fund Plus.
The document aims to create as many jobs as possible, guarantee social protection, fight social exclusion and poverty and improve working conditions. The budget foreseen for this component is 762 million euro, planned for 2021-2027. Accordingly, legal entities in our country will be able to submit projects for funding, which will be agreed in direct negotiations with the European Commission.
The European Social Fund Plus is an EU instrument for investment in human capital and, for the period 2021-2027, has a total budget of 99.3 billion euro.
