Moldovan authorities report more fake news on energy situation in Moldova
Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - The authorities today warned that fake news was spread on social networks on the tariff for national gas and eventual disconnections from power supply.
In the context, the spokesman for the government, Daniel Voda, urged the citizens to be informed only from official sources.
„Dozens of alarming stories circulate in TikTok: gas for 50 lei for one cubic metre, disconnections from power supply ‘’just as of tomorrow.’’ Be attentive to misinformation. It is important that you are informed only from official sources. Report the fake news on all platforms,’’ Daniel Voda said.
Also, decision-makers stressed that the country was provided with electric energy and the authorities worked to maintain the stability of the supply.
