Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - People with severe locomotor disabilities might be exempted from the payment for the maintenance of lifts and electric energy used for their work, under a legislative initiative due to be adopted by the parliament.
According to the parliament’s press service, the commission for economy, budget and finances approved a report to the draft for the second, final reading. The document on the amendment of the law on dwellings is to be presented to be passed in parliament’s plenum.
The initiative’s author is the head of the parliament’s commission for social protection, health and family, Dan Perciun. The MP reasons that the draft will give the people with disabilities of the locomotor apparatus, who are immobilized on bed, the right to benefit from exemptions for the services which they cannot use.
