UPDATE // Traffic flowed smoothly at Leușeni border crossing
UPDATE 14:44 – At Leușeni border crossing, traffic is flowing smoothly and operations are proceeding as usual.
Traffic is heavy on Friday, August 14, at Leușeni-Albița border crossing point, on the outbound direction from the Republic of Moldova, where there is an increased flow of travelers and vehicles.
The Border Police and the Customs Service are implementing measures to streamline traffic, and activity at the crossing point is being carried out at maximum capacity.
Travelers who intend to cross the border are encouraged to choose, if their route allows, Leova–Bumbăta or Cahul–Oancea border crossing points, in order to avoid congestion and reduce waiting times.
