First train with refugees met in Ungheni city of Moldova
Chisinau, 3 March /MOLDPRES/ - The first train of the Railway of Moldova state enterprise with 1,026 refugees from Ukraine to Romania arrived in the Ungheni railway station today morning.
The Ungheni city hall, along with volunteers Pro Ungheni and JCI Ungheni, gave travellers, among whom hundreds of children, food products, water, juices, sweets – goods brought by Ungheni residents to the settlement’s administration.
„We thank everybody for involvement. Let us be by the side of these people who were put to a tough test,’’ the Ungheni city hall reads.
