Moldovan Democratic Party starts electoral campaign

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/- The Democratic Party (PDM) started the electoral campaign for the 30 November parliamentary polls today.
At a today news conference, Democrat leader Marian Lupu said that PDM „will make an open and honest electoral campaign". „Our goal is to surprise with interesting and courageous initiatives, which are to be useful for Moldovans and not by dirty attacks against other electoral competitors,” Lupu stressed. The PDM leader added that the party’s representatives would start a national tour on 14 October, would go to each Moldovan settlement, in order to discuss with people and find out the problems they faced. Following consultations with citizens, the PDM electoral campaign will be given final touches, Lupu said.
Also today, the Democrats presented „the economic plan for Moldova’s growth”. It includes more measures meant to determine the development of Moldova.
PDM was registered as electoral contender on 10 October.
The party will be the first on the ballot paper for the parliamentary polls.
