Moldovan government appointes, dismisses more deputy ministers

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - The government dismissed, appointed and re-confirmed more deputy ministers today.

Valeriu Triboi, Octavian Calmic and Tudor Copaci were reconfirmed as deputy economics ministers. The Information Technology and Communications Ministry kept Deputy Ministers Vitalie Tarlev, Dumitru Parfentiev and Vitalie Ciolac. Igor Grosu, Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei and Loretta Handrabura will continue to act as deputy education ministers. Gheorghe Postica and Igor Sarov will further hold the position of deputy culture ministers. The Labour, Family, and Social Protection Ministry also didn't make any changes: Sergiu Sainciuc and Gheorghe Turcanu are still deputy ministers.

Deputy Minister Maria Caraus was reconfirmed at the Finance Ministry. Another deputy minister at this institution will be Simion Botnari, who has acted as director of the Public Procurement Agency so far.

Sabina Cerbu was reconfirmed as deputy justice minister and Sergiu Gurduza was appointed to the concerned office. Sergiu Diaconu was released from the post of deputy interior minister, and appointed senior state advisor. At the same time, Ion Turcan and Oleg Babin became deputy interior ministers.

Former MP Alexandru Cimbriciuc will hold the office of deputy defence minister. Vladimir Loghin was reconfirmed, and Gheorghe Gaberi and Serghei Ghetiu were released from the posts  deputy agriculture and food industry minister. Nicolae Olaru was appointed deputy minister at the same institution.

Transport Minister Vasile Botnari proposed to dismiss Boris Gherasim from the post of deputy transport minister, appoint Anatol Usatii to this office and reconfirm Vladimir Cebotari as deputy minister.

Deputy Health Minister Mihail Ciocanu was released from his duties and Octavian Grama and Svetlana Cotelea were reconfirmed in office. Sergiu Stanciu and Dragos Hincu were dismissed from their offices as deputy youth and sports ministers. Victor Zubcu will take over one of these positions.

Dorin Dusciac was released from the post of deputy minister at the Environment Ministry, based on the application on resignation and Lazar Chirica was reconfirmed. Anatolie Zolotcov continues to act as deputy regional development and construction minister. At the same institution, Alexandru Botnari was appointed deputy minister, after Victor Zubcu had been dismissed.

Also today, the government also decided that Radu Rebeja will hold the office of senior state advisor on youth issues.
