Over 53,000 people visit Made in Moldova exhibition

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- Over 53,000 people visited this year's edition of the Made in Moldova exhibition, where 450 companies presented their products. Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Sergiu Harea made public data today.

Harea said that the current edition was attended by a record number of visitors, the figure being about three thousand people higher than last year. At the event, 60 memoranda of understanding were signed between the domestic producers and companies that want to buy the products made in our country with 20 contracts more than last year.

Attending the event were also delegations from many countries, such as - Belgium, China, France, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Pakistan and Romania.

Visitors could find at the exhibition various local products including food, beverages, furniture, textiles and equipment. There were presented 21 collective stands of the district councils, Gagauzia and the Transnistrian region, the last being created for the first time.

The 18th edition of the Made in Moldova exhibition entitled Home. Authentic. Autohton - was held from 30 January to 3 February 2019 at the Moldexpo center in the capital.
