Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law on providing one-off aid to beneficiaries of pensions and state social allowances will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 15 March.

Legislative amendments were made by assuming responsibility by the government. Thus, under the government’s decision, 600 lei of Easter – state aid, will be offered to beneficiaries of all types of pensions by 1 April 2019, whose size does not exceed 2,000 lei, as well as the beneficiaries of state social allowances. Beneficiaries of the allowance for care, accompanying and supervision are exceptions.

Overall, about 610,000 people will get aid. Most, over 400,000 are old-age pension beneficiaries. The others are people who receive disability pensions, survivors’ pension or state social allowances.

Expenses for the payment of one-off aid will be covered from the state budget.
