National Health Insurance Company got over 30 files on free practice of family doctor

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/- Since the beginning of this year, the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) has received 33 files on free practice of family doctor. As a result, five primary healthcare contracts have been signed, and another 28 files are under examination.

According to the procedure, the authors of the files meeting the necessary requirements are included in the list of potential primary care providers, and subsequently a CNAM Commission assesses their ability to provide medical services on the spot. Following the evaluation, the providers with whom health care provision contracts are to be concluded within the AOAM are listed.

Physicians will be assigned a territorially delimited area, comprising one or more localities, streets, houses or blocks. Funding will be provided by CNAM based on the number of patients and additional services.
