Moldovan parliament's commission hears directors of more state institutions

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/ – Ex – Prosecutor General, Eduard Harunjen, but also the heads of Moldpres and TV station Moldova 1 were heard, on Friday, 20 September, by the members of the Commission of Inquiry for the elucidation of the factual and legal circumstances regarding the attempt of unconstitutional pukes made by the Democrats' party of Moldova (PDM) through the Constitutional Court (CC) and General Prosecutor's Office (PG).

According to the head of commission, Mihai Popsoi, at the meeting of today, there were heard ex – Prosecutor General, Eduard Harunjen, director of Moldpres, Andrei Volentir, director of TV station Moldova 1, Ecaterina Stratan, and ex – deputy of the General Inspectorate of Carabinieri, Mihail Ciubaci.

"The ex – acting director of SPPS, Anatolie Golea, has presented written info and the head of Association of Prosecutors, Alexandru Cladco, and deputy head of the General Inspectorate of Police, Gheorghe Cavcaliuc, requested to be heard in another meeting," said Popsoi.

According to quoted source, following the hearings, it was obtained info from ex – Prosecutor General, but it was also found out who ordered the access of the ministers from the Government of Maia Sandu. “As far as there are concerned publication of documents in the Official Journal, interesting info has also been received there. And Ecaterina Stratan announced that she consulted the council members to make decisions that week," said Popsoi.

He has added that the commission will come up with a detailed report on the situation of 08 – 14 June 2019 until the end of the year and during October, there will be heard ex – ministers of Government Filip but also ex – magistrates of the Constitutional Court (CC).
