Moldovan PM summons members of Government in first operative meeting

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ – The operative meeting, held this morning with the Government, has been chaired by President, Igor Dodon. The head of state has asked the ministers to start immediately working and reform the most important areas concerning the safety and quality of life of citizens, and the priority is to solve the current issues faced by Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
"I want to focus in particular on the beginning of cold season and overcoming issues related to gas delivery. I think the work of the ministers has to focus less on offices and more on territory”, mentioned Igor Dodon.
At the meeting, the members of the new executive have discussed topics related to the taking over of mandates by ministers, so that the transition would be fast and secure. PM pointed out a set of actions that ministers should focus on in upcoming period.
"The modernising of economy, attracting investments, creating jobs, raising the standard of living of people, developing healthcare and education, improving public administration, improving public order, pursuing justice reform – are just part of our goals," said PM Ion Chicu at the meeting.
PM has urged the ministers to focus on exact definition of priorities for each of the structures administered. "Our priority task is to develop and approve a Government Action Plan (PAG), which will be based upon the objectives of each public institution under subordination and coordination of Government," said Ion Chicu.
