Moldova's citizens to be able to calculate retirement age online

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s citizens will be able to calculate the retirement age online. The new electronic service has been launched at the National Social Insurances House (CNAS).

The service was worked out to help the future pensioners establish the necessary retirement age, as well as the date of the retirement, especially in case of women, for whom the retirement age annually increases by six months.

The new electronic service, The retirement age computer, can be accessed by all interested people on the webpage of CNAS, at the push with the same name by introducing the information demanded in the concerned field.

Starting from 1 July 2017, the standard retirement age of 62 years and four months was established for men. This age was gradually increased and is 63 years at present. For women, a retirement age of 57 years and six months was established. This age increases by six months each year, so that, in 2028, it will be 63 years.
