Moldovan President addresses congratulatory message on Holy Easter Holidays

Chisinau, 2 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today addressed a congratulatory message on the Holy Easter Holidays, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.

The message reads:

„Today, the Orthodox Christian from all over the world celebrate the Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. This is a day full of piety and happiness, a day when our families meet at the holiday dinner, communicate, call those staying far away and renew the relations to say each other ’’Christ has risen!’’  

Dear friends, we experience tough moments, we go through a period which tests our force, generosity, capacity to protect the fellows, power to help each other. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to protect yourselves and protect the people around you from disease. Necessarily wear masks in closed spaces, keep the distance and spend as much time as possible outdoors.  

The ordeal which we go through teaches us to be generous, teach us to depend on each other, teaches us how difficult our responsibility for each action is. Our thoughts today will go to the sick people too, to those who fight for life, who were on the watch by the side of suffering people on the Resurrection night too.  

Dear friends, I convey you sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Holy Easter Holidays and I wish you peace – us everybody and the entire Moldova! Good health and wellbeing, peace, happiness and beauty! 

The Holy Holidays teach us to be better, to be more grateful for the blessings given to us, to be conscious that each moment is worth being lived with happiness in plenty. May the light of this holiday bring us fulfillment and clarity.
