Sheriff Tiraspol wins match with Armenia's champion

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Sheriff Tiraspol football team won the match against Armenia’s champion, Alashkert Yerevan, with the score 1:0. A victory in the return match will qualify the Moldovan team to the groups of the Champions League.

According to the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), the victory goal was scored by Henrique de Susa Silva on the 58th minute. The return match is scheduled in Tiraspol for 28 July.

In the case of qualification for the next stage of the competition, Sheriff will play with the team due to win in the match between Kayrat Almaty and Red Star Belgrade.
