Chisinau-Leuseni road covered with sleet

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - Policemen today warned drivers that the Chisinau-Leuseni road, km 50, had been covered with sleet.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, drivers are urged to avoid sharp brakings and accelerations; not to stop or stand in places where they might impede the traffic; not to start outrunning columns of vehicles and observe the speed limit.
The weather is maintained cloudy today, because an atmospheric front which crosses Moldova. In the context, meteorologists forecast light precipitation in places as rain and sleet is expected in the northern country.
