Moldovan deputy premier meets Romanian envoy

Chisinau, April 4 /MOLDPRES/ - Government's results in carrying out reforms and the areas in which Romania could support our country to speed up European path were among the issues discussed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov, Government Secretary of State for European Affairs Rodica Crudu and Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau Cristian-Leon Turcanu.
The sides approached the European Integration Office's needs to ensure effective coordination of the EU accession process.
"We continue to count on Romania's political and economic support, as well as on the rich experience in the field of European integration that central and local authorities from across the Prut can share with their Moldovan counterparts. Romania has always been a faithful friend and we want to strengthen this strong relationship so that together we can find ourselves in the big European family," said Gherasimov.
Cristian-Leon Țurcanu said that Romania will continue to stand by our country through concrete actions and projects.
