Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with Ambassador of Romania
Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Daniel Ionita, in the context of the discussions on the regional security, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
„I reiterated that Moldova supports the need of the dialogue on the European security and speaks out for its holding in a peaceful and constructive atmosphere,’’ Nicu Popescu said.
The officials discussed the process of preparation of the next Joint Meeting of the two governments.
„We welcomed the quite dynamic political dialogue from the last period and agreed on speeding up the implementation of bilateral projects in key sectors contained in the roadmap as to the priority fields of cooperation Romania-Moldova, signed in Bucharest on 23 November 2021,’’ the Moldovan diplomacy head noted.
