Moldovan official to visit Austria

Chisinau, 26 April /MOLDPRES/- On 26-28 April, the head of Moldovan diplomacy, Aureliu Ciocoi, will pay a working visit to Vienna to boost the Moldovan-Austrian political dialogue and advance cooperation relations in areas of mutual interest.

According to the MAEIE press service, the visit agenda includes meetings with Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg, Austrian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Martin S. Ledolter, Director of the Austrian Development Agency Helga Schmid, OSCE Secretary General Ghada Wally, UN Deputy Secretary, Ambassador Thomas Mayr-Harting, Special Representative for Transnistrian Settlement and with members of the parliamentary friendship group Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus.

The sides will approach issues related to Moldovan-Austrian cooperation relations at bilateral level, focusing on economic component and development cooperation projects. At the same time, the acting PM will discuss the European agenda and Moldova's progress in achieving the country's European commitments.

The Transnistrian conflict settlement, the regional situation and the global health crisis will be addressed too.
