Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu announced today he is resigning together with the entire Cabinet of Ministers. The announcement was made after a meeting with Acting President Igor Dodon and Speaker Zinaida Greceanii.
The premier said that the decision is an assumed one and aims at triggering snap polls. "It is a goal we have given priority to bring the country back to normal," Chicu said.He noted that today he would have a meeting with President-elect Maia Sandu to settle the government's work.
