Moldovan premier visits construction site of theatre in southern city

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip discussed with businessmen constructing the new building of theatre “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu”, at a visit to Cahul city today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The construction company representatives assured the Prime Minister that the new premises would be put into operation in the established terms.

Also, the PM talked to the actors of the theater about their activity and construction of the new theatre headquarters, which is supposed to become a cultural and tourist attraction of Cahul city. In this context, actors mentioned that they have been looking forward to completing the works in order to be able to give a new refresh to local art.

The construction of the new building of theatre "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" began at the end of 2014, with the financial support of the Romanian Government. The Bucharest authorities stipulated €800 thousand for the edifice construction.
