Moldovan president vaccinated with second dose
Chisinau, 3 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu was vaccinated with the second dose of AstraZeneca today morning, the presidential press service has reported.
„I went to make the second dose with open heart, as well as with confidence that I make another step towards normality and safety. It has been already proved: the vaccine decreases the rate of morbidity, hospitalization and mortality,’’ Maia Sandu said.
In the last half year, the head of state along with colleagues from the Presidency made great efforts to supply Moldova with vaccine. ‘’Presently, the vaccine is available for everybody – of many types, from various producers; you should just choose and act. The pandemic has not been defeated as yet and the new variants make havoc just nearby us. And my urge remains the same: get vaccinated. The health has priority,’’ President Maia Sandu added.
