President Maia Sandu has had a meeting with Most Right Reverend Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, on the occasion of the Holy Easter Holidays.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the significance of Easter as a moment of closeness, reconciliation and solidarity among people.
President Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of unity and good understanding in society, especially in the context of current challenges, when social cohesion and mutual support become essential.
President Maia Sandu and Metropolitan Vladimir also highlighted the important role of the Church in strengthening communities, promoting peace and the values which bring people together - respect, care for others, and responsibility for the common good.
