Candidate nominated by parliamentary majority - Vladimir Golovatiuc
Chisinau, 18 March /MOLDPRES/- New parliamentary majority of 53 MPs will nominate former PSRM lawmaker Vladimir Golovatiuc for the position of prime minister.
At the beginning of today's plenary session, the leader of the Socialist Party (PSRM) faction, Corneliu Furculița, read a document on creation of a new parliamentary majority and announced that he was inviting Maia Sandu to consultations.
On 16 March President Maia Sandu initiated consultations with parliamentary factions, following which she nominated Igor Grosu for prime minister.
