Moldovan electoral body changed list of political parties eligible to participate in parliamentary elections
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has amended the decision by which the list of political parties eligible to participate in the parliamentary elections on 28 September 2025 was approved.
Thus, from the list made public on 14 July, the following parties were excluded: the Agrarian Party of Moldova, the Alternative Force and Salvation of Moldova, CHANCE Political Party and VICTORY Political Party.
The decision was made in connection with the adoption of decisions by the Public Services Agency regarding the non-registration of changes in the data recorded in the state register of legal entities.
Today, the CEC also made changes to the schedule for receiving the necessary documents for the registration of parliamentary election candidates.
Additionally, the CEC has relieved and convocated some members of the district electoral councils of the second level during the council's active period from 4 August 2025 to 30 September 2025.
The CEC authorized the conduct of three opinion polls regarding the political preferences of voters.
