EPC Summit showed importance of Moldova for security of whole of Europe, MEP says
Chisinau, June 2. /MOLDPRES/- The European Political Community Summit was a success, as it showed the importance of the Republic of Moldova for the security of all Europe. MEP Siegfried Mureșan, president of the European Parliament Delegation to the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee made the statement.
The EPC meeting organized yesterday in Bulboaca by the Republic of Moldova was a success.
"It was a success because it showed the importance of the Republic of Moldova for the security of the whole of Europe. It was a success because it showed the confidence enjoyed by President Maia Sandu and the government from Chisinau on the European level. It was a success because all the European leaders who participated learned more about the Republic of Moldova and saw the desire for European integration. It was a success because the situation in the country and in the region was discussed, and from now on it will be even easier for us to mobilize European support for the Republic of Moldova", the official said.
Our country hosted the EPC Summit yesterday, which brought together around 50 heads of state, prime ministers and senior European officials.
