The opinion was voted without any amendments being submitted.

"As the rapporteur for this opinion, I asked my colleagues in the budget committee to approve the assistance decision in the form proposed by the European Commission and not to submit any amendments. At the same time, we asked the International Trade Commission - the deciding commission on this legislative project - to do the same and vote on the European Commission's proposal without amendments", said Mureșan.

After the opinion of the European Parliament's Committee on Budgets, the vote in the International Trade Commission on the assistance follows, scheduled for April 27. The final vote, in the plenary session of the European Parliament, will most likely take place in May.
