Moldovan Foreign affairs Ministry comes up with reaction on summoning of Moldova's ambassador to Russia at Russian Foreign Ministry

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) has confirmed the summoning of Moldova’s Ambassador to Russia at the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry and the expressing of a protest for a refusal to accredit observers for elections’ monitoring.    

In the context, MAE said the professional status of the non-accredited people was incompatible with the one of international observer.  

Moldova’s Ambassador to Russia Lilian Darii today was summoned at the Russian MAE and a protest note was expressed to him, because of the refusal to o accredit observers for the monitoring of the polls. The Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry today said that ‘’a strong protest note was submitted to the diplomat, related to the discriminating and unfriendly actions of Chisinau against the Russian observers for short term, within the OSCE/ODIHR monitoring mission at the presidential elections in Moldova.’’
