Moldovan PM urged ministries to speed up setting up development strategies
Chisinau, June 22 / MOLDPRES /- Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliţa at the beginning of today's government meeting warned the ministries to prioritize the elaboration of the development strategies they have been working on lately and to propose them as soon as possible for public consultations.
In particular, Gavrilita addressed the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, as well as the Ministry of Environment.
"I want to see the food security strategy, as well as a document that will provide the population with firewood. We have a complicated autumn ahead of us because of the war in Ukraine, so we need to make sure that the most important sectors are covered. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development will take care of reducing the vulnerability of the energy field, but we must also be ensured internally ", said Gavriliţa.
The official also warned ministers that she expects new programs to change the budget in the context of rising prices. "We will not be able to help everyone, but the Government's mission is to be with the people who are in the most critical situations and most in need of help," she said.
