Over 10% of Moldovan population voted by 10:00
Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/- About 315,000 voters, or about 10%, went to the polls by 10 a.m.
According to CEC data, so far 317,092 citizens with the right to vote have voted, of which 285,746 in Moldova, and 31,869 voters - outside the country.
Out of the number of voters who expressed their option to vote, 53.41% are women and 44.54% - men. The most active are the voters in the age category 56-70 years, and in second place are those aged 41-55.
Today, more than 3.2 million Moldovan citizens with the right to vote are expected to participate in the early parliamentary elections. Polling stations are open from 07:00 to 21:00. 23 electoral contestants entered the race for the seats of legislators.
