Chisinau, Nov. 11 /MOLDPRES/- Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) leader Igor Grosu has reacted after Andrei Spânu announced his resignation from the government led by Dorin Recean and from the party. "Thank you, Andrei Spînu, for all you have done both in the Action and Solidarity Party and in the Government. You helped organize us as a party and contributed to important electoral victories."
He noted that in the government, Andrei Spînu had to make tough decisions and did not shirk responsibility for them.
"Thank you, Andrei Spînu, for all you have done both in the Action and Solidarity Party and in the government. You helped organize us as a party and contributed to important electoral victories. In government you had to take difficult decisions and you did not shirk responsibility for them. We succeeded in taking Moldova in the direction we set for ourselves - into the great European family," Grosu wrote.
This morning, Andrei Spînu announced his withdrawal from the government and the Action and Solidarity Party.
The head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development said that he was leaving with a "peaceful heart" and said that lately "he has been subjected to a smear campaign".
"I hope this step will make it possible to return to discussing Moldova in the public space and less to discussing one man or another as the enemies of our country want. There is much to be done, but justice remains the zero priority. As long as false topics are discussed in the public space, organized criminal groups, the corrupt and those who represent the foreign interests of other states will carry out their plans. We saw it in this fall's elections," concluded Spînu.
Andrei Spînu was appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development in July 2023.
