Polling stations might no longer be placed at headquarters of schools, lyceums in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - The polling stations from the Chisinau city might no longer be organized at the headquarters of schools and lyceums.   

The Chisinau municipality’s extraordinary public health commission recommended, under a 14 September decision, avoiding, if possible, the organization of the work of electoral bureaus/polling stations at the headquarters of education institutions from the Chisinau municipality.    

According to the same decision, the district electoral commissions from the Chisinau municipality will coordinate with the Extraordinary Public Health Commission the institutions and buildings where the electoral process is to take place.  

The presidential elections will take place in Moldova on 1 November 2020.
